Jean Brown of Hope joined Camden Hills Realty in a real estate sales capacity with responsibilities for marketing properties in Knox County, announced John Burgess, president of Camden Hills Realty. Jean comes to Camden Hills with an extensive background in housing having run her own home remodeling business, Hearthstone Renovations, in Connecticut and Maine. No stranger to the area, Jean was introduced to mid-coast Maine as a child. Her family vacationed and sailed the Penobscot Bay for many summers through her high school and college years. It is a tradition that continued with her own young family with a summer house in Northport’s Bayside Village. Real estate is not new to Brown. Having taken the necessary training in Connecticut, she followed up, after settling in Maine, by passing the Sales Agent Course required by the Maine Real Estate Commission. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Maine Association of Realtors, as well as, the local Mid-Coast Board of Realtors.
